Please note that beginner AquaGo! program has been postponed for 2020 season,
pending permission from municipalities.
We are offering Pre-Competive and Mini Pre-Competitive programs instead for beginners who are able to swim an entire length of the pool (25m) unassisted.
The AquaGo! Program is a Nationally developed grassroots program that is an introduction to artistic (synchronized) swimming. This program provides an opportunity to learn about artistic swimming and focuses on the development of the four pillars or skills required for success in the sport of artistic swimming.
AquaGO! benefits participants by:
Introducing new ways to move in and out of the water
Developing physical and aquatic literacy
Being accessible and inclusive – AquaGO! welcomes all abilities, skill levels and participants
Providing fitness and health benefits and the opportunity to participate for life
Developing teamwork skills
It is preferred that swimmers are comfortable swimming in deep water, but not necessary.
The program is intended for male and female athletes 5-9 years old who still require assistance with basic swimming skills.
The program runs once a week for 2 hours and is delivered as a seasonal program.
In water training: Fridays (6.30-8.30 pm).
